Bob McAndrew is an acclaimed acting coach who has worked with actors such as Christopher Walken, Chris Cooper, David Paymer, Corbin Bernsen, Jon Lindstrom, Gloria Rueben, Sela Ward, and countless others working in film and TV today.
​
He was Wynn Handman’s assistant for ten years before moving to Hollywood where he met Lucille Ball. She was so impressed with Bob that she made him the head of her talent program at Paramount Pictures. After that, Bob went to 20th Century Fox where he helmed their talent program that included such players as Sam Elliot, Tom Selleck, and Lyle Waggoner.
Bob’s approach emphasizes the individuality of each actor. He is a nurturing teacher who finds out what you do best and then focuses on unlocking your own personal authenticity.
His approach blends many different acting techniques including Meisner, Strasberg, Stella Adler, and Michael Chekhov.
